Amonium Probe
The fishlab Ammonium probe is a solid state sensor that measures Ammonium directly in your tank.
The prescence of Ammonia in your tank is coupled also with a rise in pH. Whilst the pH is still Neutral the Ammonia is present in thr form of Ammonium ions. If unchecked the pH will rise which enables the Ammonium to form Ammonia. The Ammonium sensor is therefore ideal for early indication of water degradation in your tank.
The Ammonium Probe detects from 10 to 10,000ppm and fits to the Ammonium Meter AM002. If you have a pH meter with a mV scale you can also connect the Ammonium probe to the BNC socket and you can also perform accurate Ammonium analysis. (See method in pdf area).
The Ammonium probe should be rinsed with water before and after measurements and be stored dry.
